Recours aux soins bucco-dentaires chez les personnes âgées dépendantes

One aim of the study was to analyze the use of oral care of people aged 60 yrs or over, living at home or in an institution. Data were taken from a national survey on disability and health, representative of the population living in France. Dental care was mainly forgone by both home-dwellers and institutionalized patients. The cost factor remained the main reason. To improve access to oral care, elderly people and their entourage need information on the importance of good oral health..
